Empowering Women Through Education: Our CSR Programme

How our CSR programme supported Panashe and Paidamoyo to earn certificates in Microsoft Excel and coding.

Two young women have taken their first confident steps into technology through the Agrilytics corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, earning certificates in Microsoft Excel and in coding.

Panashe and Paidamoyo joined the programme as beginners. With our support, they completed introductory courses in both subjects, building practical skills that are in demand in agriculture and almost every other industry.

From spreadsheets to code

Their first course was Microsoft Excel. Starting with the basics, they worked their way up to organising, analysing and presenting data: the everyday tasks that help farms and businesses make better decisions.

They then moved on to coding. A beginners’ course introduced them to the logic behind the software and apps that are changing how work gets done, and gave them a foundation to keep learning.

Why it matters to us

At Agrilytics we build technology for farms, and we believe the skills behind that technology should be within reach of more people in Zimbabwe. Supporting education is one of the most direct ways we can make that happen.

Panashe and Paidamoyo’s achievement shows what is possible when talent meets opportunity. Their dedication carried them through both courses, and their certificates are a well-earned milestone. Congratulations to them both.
